Shipping policy

 

Carrier Delay: 

Shop.pastosa.com takes great pride in the products we offer and strives to deliver them in the best possible conditions. While there are many things we do to lessen the risk of shipping perishable food items, some things are outside of our control such as weather and transit delays once the package leaves our facility and is in the hands of our carrier. As such, the shipping guidelines published on our site are not guarantees of shipping or arrival date.

Shop.pastosa.com is not responsible for delays in transit caused by high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism safety control, local carrier misscans or inaccurate/incomplete shipping information. 

Signature Requirements: 

Shop.pastosa.com does not require a signature for the release of any shipment. Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the discretion of the individual delivery person and is therefore entirely outside our control. 

Delivery Times: 

Shop.pastosa.com is unable to guarantee the time of delivery, as this is all subject to the local carrier. Most carriers will deliver packages anytime between 8 am-10 pm. If you are placing an order for a time-sensitive event, we recommend placing your order early and scheduling it to arrive 1-2 days before your event. In anticipation of high package volumes (holidays) or other uncontrollable events, we may have your order shipped early to ensure that it arrives in good condition.

Shop.pastosa.com reserves the right to schedule the arrival of your order earlier or later than estimated to prevent delays, based on operational conditions.  

Reroutes: 

Customers are responsible for checking that all shipping information is correct before submitting an order and in their order confirmation email.

If you need to modify the delivery address once your order has shipped, a $20 address change fee will apply to your order. Once an address modification is requested, our carrier requires one business day to process the change, which may delay the package. Shop.pastosa.com is not responsible for delays in transit caused by address modification. 

 All packages are shipped via UPS and therefore we cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses.

Order Timing & Processing:

Our products can be delivered every day of the week except for Saturday, Sunday or Monday, though some exceptions for certain shipping destinations could deliver on Saturdays. 

Daily orders placed by 1pm on Tuesdays will ship (leave our warehouse) the same week (usually the next business day) depending on volume and your position in the shipping queue. We ship orders Monday-Wednesday only and can ship locally on Thursday at times. Orders placed after 1pm on Tuesday will not ship until the following Monday in order to arrive in time for the weekend. 

Ex: An order placed at shop.pastosa.com at 12:00 noon on Tuesday will ship (leave our warehouse) either Wednesday or Thursday and arrive 1-2 days later depending on your location in the US. You will receive an email notification with tracking details once your order ships from our facility.

Ex: An order placed at shop.pastosa.com at 4pm on Wednesday will ship (leave our warehouse) the following Monday or Tuesday and arrive 1-2 days later depending on your location in the US. You will receive an email notification with tracking details once your order ships from our facility. 

Service Area: 

We ship to all 50 United States and the District of Columbia, via UPS. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to PO boxes.
